Congratulations to the SCS PBIS Team!!

This weekend the team of teachers and support staff that have been instrumental in having established PBIS (Positive Behavior and Instructional Supports) at SCS was honored at the statewide PBIS Leadership Forum.   Representing the entire team were our guidance counselors Rachel Petraska and Katie Tyler as well as our new Behavior Coach Brett DiVenere.   Our school was recognized as a "School of Distinction" for the great strides the team has made over the past two years through their implementation of the Everyday Expectations of Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible as well as their initial work this year in helping the school focus on positive affirmations as a means to help limit negative behaviors as well as build positive climate in classrooms and throughout the school.

Congratulations to everyone for all your hard work supporting our students and working to make SCS a more positive place for everyone!
