Unified Arts Celebration Night

We had a great gathering of over 100 families this past Thursday night for our annual Unified Arts Open House - a celebration of the learning students are doing from K to 8th grade in PE, music, art and world language.   Here are a few photos from a wonderful evening.

Vince shared his new ukelele skills with Mom - and Donia Kelly shared some great Spanish projects
Nothing warms my heart more than a fellow NASA fan - Finn with his Dad and a great Saturn 5 drawing!
Haley shares ome unique splatter paint artwork in Carin Lilly's art room
Corey and Alexandra share their xylophone skills with their parents in Christina Kelsh's music room
No Unified Arts Curriculum Night is complete without a visit to Diana Burritt's music room
Some family coloring fun in Kathleen Caraher's art room
The library hosted a presentation from our PE teachers
This marks the official end of our Curriculum Nights - thank you to all of our parents who came out over the past 8 weeks to learn all about what happens in our classrooms everyday.    We many of you have either had or are scheduled for a parent teacher conference as well - another great opportunity for us to dialogue about how best to help your child have an excellent year at SCS.
