Donate Books for Dec 10 Holiday Craft Fair - support SCS 5th grade student council!!

The fifth grade student council at Shelburne Community School seeks your donation of used or new books, DVDs, CDs for their book sale, held as part of the SCS Holiday Craft Fair, Saturday, Dec. 10 9am-1 pm at the school.    

Proceeds of the book sale are donated to local worthy causes, determined by 5th graders and their leadership group. This effort is organized by John Madden, Math Coach/Coordinator at SCS.   Make room for incoming holiday gifts by clearing some of your shelves.    Model community involvement by supporting these students.    Unsold books are donated to the Pierson Library for future a book sale and to other local groups.
Books may be dropped off at the lobby of SCS or at the Shelburne Market (look for milk crate with sign SCS 5th grader book sale Dec 10, 2016). Books may also be picked up at your home or office by contacting Nancy Baker,

WHY: It's a win-win!! Support SCS students in conducting their fund-raising efforts as part of the SCS Craft Fair on 12/10/16 and learning about deciding on charitable donations to help their community.   At the same time you make some space for incoming gifts.
