Thanks to our great construction team - this week's update

SCS is blessed to have such a great team working on our renovation project - I know it brings smiles to most people when I can share that we are on-time and on-budget!   That doesn't happen by accident - and includes so much behind the scenes work by CSSU COO Bob Mason, our Dore and Whittier Team led by Rob Fitzgerald, our Breadloaf Construction Management team led by Mark Skeffington and Justin Wright, our Project Manager Tom Barden and our SCS Facilities Director Chris Giard.   Combined with the hard work of almost a dozen subcontractors, week by week the project continues to take shape in an exciting way.   Here are a few pictures to highlight the continued progress as we aim towards a Feb 2017 completion of the D Wing.
Monaghan Roofing has moved along to the roof over the administration offices - having finished above the gyms

KLA Masonry is moving quickly to have the new bases ready - so much nicer than that old rotten white fiberboard

Soon to come will be the pre-cast sills and the windows themselves, definitely before the end of December

Dennis White Interiors has begun hanging the sheetrock on the newly framed walls
Acousta Therm adding insulation to our new HVAC ducting

Mike's Electric and Cooper Mechanical have been running conduit and finishing up supports for the new HVAC units
Hope everyone connected with SCS has a great Thanksgiving vacation - work will continue fast and furious in the D Wing and we look forward to sharing even more progress next week.
