I'd justify that statement by asking you to imagine a young person who can communicate effectively, is a deep thinker, can solve complex problems and is self-directed - but can't work others, accepts no personal responsibility, is biased and disrespectful and has no sense of caring for his or her community. I certainly would be challenged to consider an SCS graduate with those characteristics successful.
