Student Videos around Everyday Expectations

One of our schoolwide themes this year has been a continued focus on helping all students learn what it means and looks like to be safe, responsible and respectful all day long at SCS.    If a picture is worth a thousand words - then perhaps a video hits the million mark right?  It's in that spirit that classes around the school have undertaken the challenge of sharing their learning about what these expectations look like with their peers using video.

This one was produced by third graders in Ms. Castrovillari's class and was looking at what it means to be safe, responsible and respectful in the cafeteria - one area where we seem to always have room for growth :-)

Some of the 7th grade Alpha students also created a video designed for our elementary students showing what it might look like to be safe, responsible and respectful in the hallway.   This was part of their work in demonstrating the transferable skill of Responsible and Involved Citizenship.    Hope you enjoy the fine acting by our young thespians :-)
