Some Spanish Video fun from our 7th and 8th graders

Donia Kelley - our middle school Spanish teacher extraordinaire shared these videos created by some of our 7th and 8th graders.  For this assignment students were asked to pick a genre of media that they had been studying, research its components and then create an original product in that style.  The goal was to incorporate grammar elements and specific vocabulary from the unit - all while having fun sharing their skill in Spanish.    The learning targets for the projects included "I can demonstrate comprehension of content from authentic audio and visual resources" - an example of the transferable standard of Creative and Practical Problem Solving, as well as "I can create with language by expressing my own meaning with accurate vocabulary and grammar" - an example of Clear and Effective Communication.    Hope you enjoy a few of these projects -
