Library work begins and almost ready to start painting in the E Wing

As school winds down - the renovation project is clearly ramping up.    This week we have over 10 different contractors hard at work and our count of workers onsite today was 35!

In the E Wing Dennis White Interiors is wrapping up their sheetrock work while Spectrum Painting is hard at work taping in preparation for starting their prime coat later this week.

We have New England Flooring beginning tile work in the bathrooms, while up in the ceiling cavity Temperature Controls of Vermont is beginning to install HVAC control systems while Acoustatherm is installing pipes and Mike's Electrical is running wire to the main panel and finishing up installing our new fire alarm system.

The big news is that work has already begun on the library renovations - all of the back offices have been cleared, a new wall installed and demolition of the Cave began today.   A huge thank you goes out to Kari, Fran, Sue, Peter, Alyssa, Mike, Jeannie, Annette and Nancy - all of whom spent the last week relocating their work spaces to allow Breadloaf to get to work.   Friday we expect Morway movers to arrive and begin boxing up the 25,000 books in our library collection.   Things are really gearing up - and needs to in order to assure Breadloaf can wrap it all up in time for the start of school in August.   Enjoy a few shots from the work.
