Shelburne Community School will be opening Kindergarten Registration for the 2019-2020 school year starting December 3, 2018. Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) is asking families to register their Kindergartners earlier this year, in an effort to get more accurate enrollment numbers for our schools. These enrollment numbers help us to plan our staffing needs for the upcoming school year and help us to coordinate our site visits for placement in the spring.
Please contact Patty Spagnolo at (802) 383-1119 to pre-register your child if they will turn 5 years old by September 1, 2019. Patty will need your child’s name, date of birth, parent’s names, addresses, phone number and email addresses. On December 3rd, she will provide all of the necessary paperwork electronically via ‘Informed K-12’. (Please keep a look-out in your email or spam folder for this important information.)
On Tuesday, December 11th in the SCS library from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm, we will be available to ensure completion of this process. We will collect birth certificates, immunizations, and verify that the registration paperwork has been submitted online.
