We have some exciting news to share. Collectively, our students and staff members have filled our "C" container in our lobby with cat coins - which means tomorrow is pajama/comfy day for all students and staff! (Please be sure to dress kids appropriate for the cold weather conditions - they'll need to bundle up for outdoor recess.)
Adults in our building add a cat coin to their own classroom container every time we provide positive specific feedback to individuals or groups of students. Each class has their own classroom celebration when they fill their class container. Then they dump their cat coins into our "SCS" container in the lobby. When we fill one letter, we celebrate in various ways as a school community. To fill the "C", we were working towards earning a schoolwide (PreK-8) "Pajama/Comfy Day" celebration or a "Stop Drop & Play (Games)" celebration. Our students voted, and the winner is Pajama/Comfy Day tomorrow!
