Shelburne Community School and PTO
invites you to attend
Peaceful Practical Parenting Class
With Maris Rose Parent Coach & Early Childhood Educator
Please do join us! In an atmosphere of warmth and understanding we will discuss techniques (and the concepts behind their effectiveness) to bring more peace, connection, simplicity and respectful cooperation to family life.
We will focus on building a stronger bond with our children. The premise is that we want to increase our positive influence and our ability to teach and guide our children. We'll address effective communication tools and the power of our attention to support our connection and the emotional development of our children.
Then we address ways to maintain the essential emotional connection with our children while teaching and guiding them to behave appropriately? We'll see how this positive (not permissive) approach supports raising responsible, resilient, caring children.
