Eloisa Johnson, a 6th grade trombonist in the SCS Symphonic Band, recently worked on a nationwide project, CancerBlows, with her great uncle Dave Foster, also a trombonist, and his brother-in law, Jim Miller, trombonist with the LA Philharmonic.

Among a family of trombonists, Ellie submitted a trombone solo to the project, as well as Dave Foster and Jim Miller, to show support for those suffering from cancer and as a special honor to her great uncle Dave, who is recovering from lymphoma.
