Thank you, Amanda Wobbleton, for an amazing job orchestrating groups of kids to weed and mulch the school gardens.
19 classes participated in this year's Green-Up Week at SCS! Students worked in the gardens around the school mulching, weeding, and planting flowers and vegetables.
The Pre-K students now have flowers growing next to their playground. The vegetables that students planted in our raised beds will be harvested at the return of school next fall.
The entrance to SCS has new mulch and less overgrowth as shown in the picture below. Thank you teachers and students who took part in this event!
