Seventh and Eighth grade students helped collect funds for UNICEF this year by “Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF.” According to their website, “Every child has the right to grow up in a safe and inclusive environment. UNICEF works with partners around the world to promote policies and expand access to services that protect all children.”
UNICEF was established in 1946 following World War II. European children, facing famine and disease, where provided with basic health care, food and clothing. Following the tradition started in 1950 to solicit funds at Halloween, This year’s students raised Seventy-Five dollars!
